Nowruz Celebration with the Dorchester Project

Please join Pasfarda and The Dorchester Project founded by Theaster Gates on Saturday March 22, 2014 from 8PM-12AM as they co-host their first collaboration and conversation: the Celebration of the Iranian New Year, “Nowruz.”

Iranians have celebrated their new year on the Spring Equinox for at least 3,000 years which is now recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Join us and make your wishes for new beginnings, learn about the Haft-Seen, dance to Iranian pop music, and meet new people.
