Pasfarda collaborated with Beyond Persia and the World Music Festival to bring Mohsen Namjoo to Chicago!
After taking the entire country by storm in his United States debut, receiving critical acclaim, performing at audience demanded encore performances, and just hours before he was to board a flight from LA to Chicago, Mohsen Namjoo was checked into the emergency room.
Details of this incredible artist's health are still unknown to Pasfarda, and our thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery.
In light of these circumstances, Mr. Namjoo's Chicago concert and the VIP reception hosted by Pasfarda, both set to take place tomorrow night, September 23rd, have been postponed. A new concert and reception date will be announced pending good news from the artist's doctors.
We thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

Mohsen Namjoo Mohsen Namjoo (Iran | Contemporary Persian) Mohsen Namjoo is an Iranian troubadour. A songwriter, composer, poet, actor, and lyricist, who learned from master Iranian folk musicians, as well as the University of Tehran, or the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Mashhad, Iran where he grew up, there he learned the complete repertoire of Iranian traditional singing for over six years. He also plays the Setar, an old, Iranian lute instrument and taught himself how to play the guitar, while listening to western singers and musicians. He sometimes uses his own satirical lyrics and blends them with the classical poetry of Hafez, Rumi or Saadi. His music is an exceptional fusion between various styles of traditional Iranian to blues and rock.
